Very, very bad news about Austin

Thank you all. I'm happy to hear positive outcomes, skin or fur. There was a ton of info in the links that gmac posted, and although this seems to be highly treatable I still worry. I just don't want this to be happening to him. I worry constantly. Is he feeling ok? Is he in pain? Aside from licking his lips he's the same Austin, we just went for a walk, first one in a while and he really seemed to enjoy it. I'm trying to stay upbeat around him, I do most of my crying in the shower! I'm sure he can feel my upset and I don't want him upset. I just pray the treatment works, that he can tolerate it, and that he's with us for a long time to come.

Even those of us that have healthy fur babies worry daily. Sometimes when Chance is laying on the floor at my feet sleeping and I can't hear him snoring I have to watch his chest and make sure it is still going up and down, you know just to be sure (either that or I am certifiably crazy) I am glad to hear Austin is doing well, we continue to keep him and you in our prayers everyday. We will continue to pray everyday that this treatment is what he needs and you get nothing but positive outcomes Give yourself a hug from Chance and myself and give Austin a hug and a kiss from the both of us. Thinking about you and Austin and sending lots of hugs and boxer wiggles and kisses. Hope you enjoyed your Easter Holiday with your sweet boy and so glad that things are looking up for Austin. You will always be cautious and wonder if he's ok or not and it's so understandable that you don't want your baby to be sick and everyone here at Boxer World wants him well too. I'm praying for you and Austin. I have a good feeling that he will be fine. You are a wonderful mom to Austin and don't worry about the stress you are going through affecting him. Thank you all. Austin is being Austin, you'd never know that anything was wrong with him. But that's a good thing and I hope it means he's still feeling good. One week from tomorrow we see the oncologist.
