You know what sounds like you and I have a lot in common. I have done the exact thing 3 times...knowing i couldn't keep them but took them anyway so i could find them a good home. A man offered me a min pincher a few months back. She was skin and bones and I took her. Then I took her to the vet and she was pregnant. My aunt took her and now she loves her more than anything. :D

Way to go!

UPDATE

Thank you all for your kind comments. Just for an update, Redman was taken last night by a family with 3 children. They have a large yard and he is the only animal. I think this will be a perfect match for him.

They our going to go to our recomended vet today and put him thru the Heartworm treatment. I called my friend and told him to let me know how Redman does so I can keep everyone posted.

This is one story that had a very happy ending, just can't imagine what would have happend to him had we not taken him..........

Paul, do you and your wife realize how much you have changed this poor guys life!? God Bless both of you! Obviously Redman has never known any type of love and he must be so overwhelmed with it now!!
I am with Cindy..so glad you gave her a peice of your mind...but I REALLY hope you gave her the flu too!! At least she had the decency to come to you guys.
