I'm a little confused. Did the family with the 3ids keep Redman? Or do you have him? Is his heartworm better? Thank you again for rescuing him from the horrible situation he was in.

Sadly, I haven't had much time at all for Boxerworld. But that's a long story. I'm so glad I logged on for the 5 minutes that I have. Stories like these keep bringing me back. My eyes welled with tears not only at the thought of the poor little guy being so thoroughly mistreated but because of the obvious outpouring of concern for him and the thanks to someone as wonderful as you. I'm so glad that you found Redman a home and hope that he gets the training he needs to be more sociable. If you have any more updates, I'm sure everyone would love to hear them. I'll just finish by adding one more thanks to the list for people like you. Karen

I also saw a boxer this week that had been very mistreated. My vet was taking care of her, about 7 weeks old. She had just been "dropped off" to someone. Her tail had not been docked and it was hairless, along with the bottom portions of her legs. They are suspecting ringworm. She is a little beauty and very sweet, but very tired. She was vaccinated yesterday. She is very swollen in the middle section, bad nutrition, and worms. I cannot forget that little doll. If I didn't already have 5, I would have taken her in. I know they will find her a good home...it is just so sad though.

I thought I would pass along the update to this post, one that I made recently!

My husband and I are self-employed and we entered a home this week to service the electricity and I gasped when I saw the little boxer girl that I talked about in the above quote!!! She was being "fostered" in the home and she is doing so much better!!! What a coincidence! Her fur is looking better and she is much more alert. She is still being treated for worms. Her bloating is better. They wanted me to take her home, AGAIN, but I already have 5 boxers, and other animals as well. I believe the foster family just might keep her though. The teenage daughter is in love with her...they named her Delilah (Cindy Creel, are you smiling too?), and they call her "Lilah."

I am happy for the little boxer girl!

Oh I am smiling ! That is so great and her name is Delilah. There is something about that name. Please keep us updated on her progress.
