Update. Somba has not gone to The Bridge yet!

First a BIG Thank You to all who have expressed sympathies and support to us at this time. But, we took her yesterday and she saw a different Doc, she gave us more info and explained our options with Somba a little better, I think my wife, Sandy, just couldn't take it in on friday when she found out. Anyway we told the Doc that we were not going to make Somba suffer for our own selfish reasons, but if there was a legitamite reason to beleive that she could be well again than we were all for it. Money was not a concern, we got her for free, but she is priceless to us. I'll sell my guitars, amps, race car or anything else if I have to. Those items can all be replaced, she can not be. So they took some blood to see if any other organs are affected and will do an ultrasound this morning. Please pray for us and agian Thank You All for your prayers and support in this difficult time.

I know how you feel, we did the same thing, went in to euthanize, and left deciding to give it one last go with our girl Sam. You would swim across the ocean for them if would help. We'll be sending positive thoughts for Somba.

You sound like such loving and caring boxer parents...I couldnt imagine having to go through what you are...but please know that you and Somba are in my prayers and thoughts.

Thank you so much for the update- when Junior was sick we spent thousands (even more than we really had as our business had drained all our accounts) but I could not lose him. Miracles do happen and all full out prayers to send Somba not just health, but comfort as well.

Update of update:
The good news. The ultrasound showed no signs that any of her other organs are being affected, it also could not find any evidence of the tumor wraping around her blood vessels.
The bad news. The fluid drawn from the tumor is bloody, not a good sign. Samples have been sent to a patholigist(sp?) for evaluation. Should have results tomorrow, I'll let you all know.
