Boxer Insane
Well, this past month has been very busy time for me. I have been working late due to deadlines here at work, i have been working in the lab most days so i havent even been able to get onto BW when i want. So i thought i would share some things that happened lately with ya'll, especially since everyone here at work is tired of hearing about my dogs! 
My father had his open heart surgery earlier this month, the Dr.'s felt he couldnt wait any longer, they replaced his valves. he is currently at home driving my mother nuts! :D Surgery went well and he is doing good. Thanks all for your wonderful healing vibes.
My son came out to visit for thanksgiving. He lives in AL with my parents due to my traveling. we orginally thought he should move out here full time when he finishes 8th grade. but i talked with him this past week and he is moving out here to live with me next summer. he also wants to help me with the boxer rescue, and i told him he could pick out his very own dog from the fosters we get. I am planning on moving into a house next year and i asked him to help me with some building, i want to build an aviary for my birds and landscape my backyard with a " Boxer playground" in back. He seems pretty pumped about helping and had many ideas.
My foster, Jack, is still with us, i am convinced that "that higher power" wants him to stay with me a little longer, he is getting so much better, he plays better and is more settled. My son even spent some time working iwth Jack. Katie is begining to "teach" him how to play, at first she would just let him get away with his bad behavior, now she either ignores him or stands over him when he mis-behaves.
My computer is having some trouble and i just havent gotten to it to clean it up (ad-ware and a virus) so i havent gotten to my christmas cards yet. I will send them out soon, I promise!
Couple of funny stories:
I was dusting my ceiling fans this past week (first time in a year! i hate dusting) and so i turned off the fan in the dining room/living room and the spare bedroom (jack's room) katie was in my room with the door closed, well Jack walks out into the living room and sees the fan stopped, well he starts barking at it and wont move under it at all, he finally decides to go back into his room, he took one step into the room, noticed that that fan was off too, starts barking at it as well and just didnt know what to do! I was laughing so very hard, i couldnt even calm him down. it was too funny!
Then sun night, katie wanted out at 5AM, i told her to go back to sleep. well 5 mins later i hear Jack barking, so i jump up and run into that room and there is katie sitting in the middle of Jack's room. she looks up at me and i swear she said " well since you are already up, how about letting me out NOW!" what a stinker!
Well, that is all i have right now, hope things are going well for everyone else.
