Uncropped ear health

All three of my Boxers are cropped. While they don't reall get ear infections, I can tell you that Crystal's ears are dirty magnets. Rolling in the warm dirty on a summer's day is this gal's great joy. Having to clean her ears from such playtime is not mine :(

As someone mentioned, the after care for cropped ears is pretty time consuming so I would definitely not label myself as "lazy" in this regard ;)

Boxer Pal
uncropped ear problems. help!

I am the proud mom of a 10 month old boxer boy, miles. He has been having the ear problems described in this thread for the last couple of months. One ear healed beautifully, the other is still greatly affected. He continues to shake his head and reopen the wound at the tip. We've been to three different vets, and none of them seem to know what to do (although they've tried everything from stiches to pills to treat a potential allergy that may be causing the head shaking). And his ears are very clean.

I would greatly appreciate if someone who experienced a similar problem could let me know how long it took to heal, and if it just took time or a special treatment.

thanks!!!
