I don't know about the ear cropping thing 'cause as far as I am aware it is illegal/banned by the NZKC (NZ Kennel Club), so I have not actually seen a 'live' boxer with cropped ears. Besides I like those floppy ears especially when Diva sticks them out sideways! (I call it her flying nun ears look!).
A groomer friend of mine has dog ear wash (used in conjunction with cotton wool) and she regularly does her dog and will often do Diva's as well. She has told me that it is easy to do. It keeps the ears clean and stops the wax from building up apparently. And with Diva at the moment spending so much time at a sandy beach it's good to make sure that there isn't a build of sand in the ears.
