U2 in concert

Has anyone ever been to one of their concerts? Are they good?

They are coming here next year and im thinking of going. Its $99 so I only want to spend that amount of money if they are REALLY good in concert

I have been and I really liked it. But I really like U2. If you are a fan I'd suggest going.

OMG... I will probably sound like a freak to anyone who reads this... BUT I went to the POP tour, went to the ELEVATION tour 3 times! and went to the VERTIGO tour 4 TIMES!!... :D I am such a freak.

As if you can't already tell what my advice is gonna be... GO GO GO!!! They are amazing and both the Elevation and the Vertigo tour have been indoors in small-ish places so the sound is amazing. Their repertoire was awesome! A little bit of everything... They are such a good band. GO FOR IT!!

I am a complete nut.

Hubby's been and loved it - they are touring here next year as well and he wants to go so i said i would go with him - he is wrapped -i'm not a huge fan but he is.

he's also talked me into going and seeing Billy Connelly (Scottish Comedian) at the Sydney Opera house next February but i think that will be funny - i just hope i can understand his accent

I guess you could say im a semi-fan. The songs I have heard from them are mostly radio ones so I havent really heard their album stuff, ill have to start so I know the words . I love the atmosphere of concerts though so I dont really mind who is playing (as long as they do good performances)

Ill be buying my ticket on the 5th I think! Unless they sell out before I can. They will be going like wildfire. LOL we dont get many good bands down here so you gotta get in quick!

Hey Checkers - I'm going to try and get tickets on Monday too!! I'm a HUGE fan and will be so gutted if I can't get them. I've been doing some research into seats and I think the general admission will be best. Went to big day out at Ericsson stadium last year and I felt it was much better on the 'field' than in the seating areas. Also if you go onto the site www.ticketmaster.co.nz and join up beforehand it makes logging on faster etc so at 9am Monday you get a better chance. It is going to be BF's Christmas present - hope I can get flights that don't cost the earth!
