Typical day in the life of a BARFer?

actually I havent been barfing that long 3 months but I did alot of research here and google plus I bought a ton of books. the reason I started was because of one of my boxers gracie she had colitis and I was really at my wits end. she did so well on raw but she passed away in march it was not the colitis that took her life she had gotten into fights with my other female boxer mattie and sad to say she was injured so bad she did not recover.:( my other boxers just love raw mattie is almost 3 and samson is just about 9 months old and I also have a pappillion they are all thriving. it really is great for my babies. my family thinks I'm nuts but who cares as long as my babies are doing great.
I also did it cold turkey since gracie was not doing well with kibble.

Thanks sgbtab! I really appreciate your help! How long have you been BARFing? I have been thinking of it for awhile, but thought it was more expensive than it actually can be. I am really hoping to begin soon. How long/gradual do you wean them off of kibble?

I also wanted to let you know that your Sasha is beautiful! She looks just like my Sammy only with all of her hair!!

sasha was my first boxer and it was because of her that I love the breed they are the greatest breed. sasha had lukemia and it was very tough with all the drugs she was on:(

I'm really sorry to hear about Gracie. :0( That must be very rough. I can't even imagine. Thanks for all of your insight. I hope mine thrive as well as yours have.
