Trudy and the Tree

Well we all know that trudy's nickname is "Trudy Troublemaker" and in case you don't know why here is a perfect example....

The christmas tree was up for exactly one hour, we let her sniff it, walk around it, check it out and then it seemed her fascination with the tree was over....

I went into the kitchen to start to prepare dinner, all's quiet in the house, too quiet....so I call her in to me, well in she comes nubba wigglin away with a huge branch from the christmas tree in her mouth!! Don't ask me how she got it off without pulling the whole tree down but she didn't!!


I have solved the problem, I have a few ornaments with bells on them, i put them all along the bottom of the tree, so when I hear the little bells tingling I know she touching the tree!!

Natural toothpicks

I think they have chainsaws for teeth. Brutus went with the family the day we picked out the tree and he didn't seem one little bit interested. We spent all day at Gramma's house and he barely gave it a second glance.

Until... we went outside to work on the lights. When we came back inside 30 minutes or so later, Brutus was lying by the back door with his own custom made chew toy. Gramma just said she didn't want that branch anyways.

Too funny!!! That's why we put our tree (4' fake) on top of Apollo's cage! He does get on the arm of the sofa and leans over to sniff it, but it's not in his reach to get a limb!!!!

hmmm . . . sounds like i know what to look forward to when we get out tree this weekend.

if u ever decide trudy needs another evil sibling i'll be more than happy to send kaiser up for a short visit

I PUT UP MY TREES AT THANKSGIVING. I HAD READ SEVERAL HORROR STORIES ON HERE ABOUT BOXERS AND X-MAS TREES. I HAVE A LARGE TREE IN THE LIVING ROOM WITH SPINNING ORNAMENTS ON IT AND FOUR SMALLER FIBER OPTICS TREES ON THE FLOOR IN ANOTHER ROOM. SUGAR HAS NEVER BOTHERED ANY OF THE TREES OTHER THAN TO SMELL OF THEM. WE EVEN PLAY BALL AND SOMETIMES IT GOES BEHIND THE FIBER OPTIC TREES, SHE JUST GETS HER BALL AND NOTHING MORE. I FEEL VERY LUCKY. SHE HASN'T BOTHERED ANY OF THE GIFTS UNDER THE TREE EITHER.

Christmas Trees

You are sooo lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jazzy loves opening Xmas pressies especially the ones with her name on them. They are the only ones that she opens. They also steal and chew up decorations off the tree. Lucky it only happens once a year. At the moment hubby is begging Jazzy to open his presents so that he knows what they are.:D
