I am going to switch Raine over to Earthborn also. I haven't looked into this food yet but are the feeding guidelines similar to TOTW (as far as amount fed)? God forbid I have to "teach" hubby all over again how much 1.5 cups is!
It's very close. I am still feeding the same amount per guidelines. And I gotta say, they even seem more satisfied on this food. No searching for scraps that one of the other's may have missed. Smiley would go around and lick everyone elses bowls, but doesn't with this food. It does smell a lot more than TOTW. And they are all happy when I set their bowls down.
I feed each dog 1-1/3 cups. I have a metal 1 cup measure and a 1/3 cup measure. They get one of each. Maybe you could get a 1 cup and a 1/2 cup just for hubby! LOL

I would imagine that out of common courtesy they should have released a statment outlining that there has been a problem that has now been resloved and that they are back in production, if only to put their customers minds at rest.

I'm not trusting them either. Everything's been a little too hush hush for my liking. Anyway, I was switching Cornelius over to Blue Wilderness Salmon (he was at 1/2 TOTW and 1/2 Blue Wildnerness) at this point but then on our after work walk he threw up. So, I just switched over totally to the Blue Wilderness last night. No problems this morning, so I apologize Cornelius for the fast transition but I feel better this way!!

I bought special measuring cups specifically for her meals! The one that sits out on the counter is a 1.5 cup (cup). He is forever getting it over full and is probably adding a good additional 1/4 cup plus when he feeds her. Luckily it isn't often or she would be a porker....well probably not since she can't sit still but it does drive me a bit crazy. I mean how hard is it really to fill up a cup to the rim but not go over? :D The food is falling out all over the counter and he picks it up and piles it in the cup till it makes a nice little mound.

I talked to my local pet store owner today. She said they have been in touch weekly with diamond and diamond has insisted that totw is safe and that they have been doing a lot of tests to confirm it is not contaminated.They will probably resume production by the end of this week. I'm not sure I believe it. I bought Acana today and I don't think I will buy any diamond product anytime soon.

I really hope that he will be ok ,im sure the vet will be able to tell you if it is salmonella or not.

Stores shelves in my area are void of all TOTW products. They have no clue when they will receive a shipment. Thankfully I always have a backup bag available but I am now using my backup! Will probably have to make a decision as to what I am switching Raine over to in the next day or two. They can get Earthborn for me but I don't know how soon I would get it.
Probably at least a week.
Sales staff was highly recommending Nutrisource as they have a grain free version now. I wasn't overly impressed. Anyone using this?
