Took my 2 boxers on train ride

I went to the Heber Valley Railroad. They let you bring dogs on one of the excursions.

The dogs loved it. The people on the train with us loved the boxers. The entire time the kids played with the dogs and didn't pay attention to the train ride. Bella loved looking out at the view.

By the end of the day my furbabies were sad to see all the kids get off the train. One little girl in particular sat next to Bella and talked and petted her the entire time.

It was so much fun. I thought maybe they would be scared by the noises of the train but they weren't they had a good time to. I always love finding activities I can do with them.

what a great adventure for all of you. sounds like eveyrone including the passengers had a great time. that is terrific of the rail road to allow pets on board.

That sounds like fun. I could not imagine taking my pups on a train here, they are too crowded and the dogs would want to sit in the seats.

It sounds like you had a wonderful day. How lucky you were to have a train excursion that allowed dogs! It reminds me of a reproduction of a early twentieth century French poster I saw once. It showed a well-dressed gentlemen standing on a train station platform next to an impressive pile of luggage with an elegant looking dog on a leash sitting at his feet. I think the poster was an advertisement for a particular train line; apparently there was a time when you could bring your dog with you into your compartment when you traveled by train. Wouldn't that have been nice!
