Tiny White Puss Like Pimple Things in Ears...

BooBoo has loads of tiny white puss like things in her ears. She was at the vet earlier this week, because she was scratching at her ears and she gets a yeast infection in them from time to time. The vet said there was some yeast inside, so put her on tresaderm. The vet noticed a couple of the little puss like pimples and wasn't sure what they were- BooBoo now has many many more---BUT she's no longer scratching her ears, they're red too, but don't seem to bother her too much. I have been putting the tresaderm on the tiny puss looking things too, as directed by the vet...but, they seem to be getting worse. Does anyone know what it is??? I'll have to call the vet today, but thought I'd ask here too. Thanks!

Dorian had a couple on his bum recently. To me they looked like pimples, but I dont know what they were, though Id like to find out. :)

Could be thrush. Most vets will probably prescribe antibiotics, which is the opposite way of how a holistic person would treat it. Check with the vet to be sure, and if it's that I'd try yoghurt (with active cultures), and maybe some probiotics / cranberry supplement.


If it's thrush, the flora in the body are just out of whack (yeast infection) and need some rebuilding. It often happens if they've been on antibiotics or had massive diarrhea from another cause.

Yep, I bet that's it. She just went through round 3 of Panacur for giardia, and I think still has it.

Should I call the vet, it looks better... I've been wiping it out, and adding some of the ear med to the inside of the ear flap too.

I'll get on the yogurt ASAP! How much again a day, she's 40 pounds ( a peanut!).
