Very good news to hear that the antibiotics are doing a job on the abcess! Continued healing vibes going to Trigger, and hope all goes well with the removal of the "foreign body". Perhaps a piece of stick or bone?

I am so thankful that your guy will be ok. Unfortunately for my 7 1/2 year old Casey - her mass turned out to be lymphoma which we found out yesterday. She has had 2 mass stem cell tumor removed within the last 12 months and the Vet wants her to go through Chemo. Not sure I want to put her through anymore. Her sibling sister died in my arms at age 3 from lack of a kidney. Did I mention these 2 lovely girls whom I adore grew to over 120#'s? They are from a BYB and although I realize health can be an issue in any dog - these have had a rough history. I promised Casey I would not let her suffer and she keeps on hacking and choking. Just don't know what to do.
