Three cheers for Saturn!!!

So yesterday I had to run a few errands, but since it was such a wonderfully warm day here in New England I felt horrible putting Dempsey in his crate even for an hour. One thing I needed to do was go to Saturn and have my oil changed. When I got there I asked the girl if they had somewhere I could take him to walk around since I knew they wouldn't let me in the waiting room. She said to bring him in!!! I took him into the waiting room where every salesperson and maintenance person just HAD to drop by and say hello to Dempsey! He had the BEST time! They offered him water and many made "return trips" to come visit their new friend. They even told me to bring him back and they would babysit (ha!).

Don't you LOVE it when you find places that are not just "pet friendly" but also friendly to your pet?!

That's terrific! I am always so nervous taking Grumpy anywhere besides a pet store - afraid people will be rude and she'll pick up the vibes and wonder what she did wrong.
We now get our oil changed at a little auto shop - the owner's boxer hangs out in the office all day & is a great play date for Grumpy. Isn't it funny what we are willing to change to make life fun for our dogs?
Way to go Saturn people!!!!! and way to go Dempsey for being such a good boy and getting invited back!!!

Good job Saturn. I work for a GM dealer and we allow people with their dogs. Usually it is a little dog, but we welcome all sizes. And you know, I have to go play with all of them.

I'm glad you had a good experience. I have often took my dogs with me to the Subaru dealer where I would get my car serviced. It was within walking distance, so I would drop off my car and then walk home and then walk up to pick it up. They would always suggest that I give Tara some water from the water cooler.

You know, I am in the market for a new car soon and was deciding between getting a Saturn or a few others. The Saturn service centers are both about 15 minutes away from my house, but now that I know they are dog friendly (hopefully ALL of them are), it may sway my decision a little more

I work at an Infiniti dealer and we love and allow all pets here at our dealership... I love seeing animals come it ... makes the day that much better. Good job Sautrn guys.

Take your boxer with you when you go to look at your car. Tell the dealer that the car has to be boxer approved and see what their reaction is.
