It won't be much longer now Amber! I love watching those babies moving inside I can sit there for hours watching them kick and move and swim. Can't wait to hold them and breath in that sweet perfume that is puppy breath! Sounds like she is having braxton hicks type contractions, those are to help prepare the way for the new arrivals. sounds like everything is going according to schedule, take some deep breaths and try to relax, time to fill out the birth announcements! She's Killing Me!

Well, Wed. came and Wed went. Nothing. She is just now getting some milk into some of her back teats. She sleeps during the day and keeps me up most of the night.

With multiple breedings, do I become concerned after the due date from the LAST breeding has passed? I'm just a little concerned since there are so many, that many her uterus is just too stretched. I can still feel babies moving and she doesn't seem distressed. I'm just a major worry wart and I can't show her that.

I also thought the puppies have arrived! Wish I could help you out but I have no answers. The only thing around here that was bred was me!! LOL!

Took her to the vet, and he said I was more distressed than the dog was! He said to be patient, she was getting close.

They are here!

Well she finally had them 11 puppies, 5 male brindle (4 flashy) 5 female (2 fawn and white flashy) 3 brindle flashy, 1 white female, lost one fawn and white female 6 hours after birth (runt). :( 10 survivors. Mom and puppies are doing well! Thanks for everyones support!

C-section has brought me 7 girls and 1 boy. More details to follow because I am feeding the little squeelers now because Chloe is staying overnight at the vet for observation due to being anemic.
