congrats on your new pup! I went on the net there was pages of names for dogs.
My guy is white, so we were looking for names a long that line. But we settled for Ozzy for Ozzy Osbourne Ha! My son and hubby are going to see him on Wednesday nite.

Disney names are a fun idea. I like names that are common things but I spell them differntly. Like Cayenne's official name is Cayenne Puppier. My old cocker spaniel is Jaramaya Bullefruege. Down the road when I get a companion for Cayenne I am going to name him Cajun Spice. LOL I should live in New Orleans.:D

When we got Ozzy we had a list of names as long as my arm and we couldn't decide on a single one.
We looked at characters from movies and literature. We looked at musical references and at famous boxers names.
Eventally it came down to Cash, Ozzy and one other one. We ended up with Ozzy for...drumroll please.... Ozzy Osbourne, my husbands favorite Heavy Metal god. At first it didn't seem to fit this little, sleepy 6 week old pup but as he's gotten older lets say it fits him to a T.
In the past I've used many sources to find names. Dictionaries, baby name books for children, mythology(roman and greek as well as celtic) movies, music and popular fiction and nonfiction. Let's not rule out famous dog characters from days past for inspiration.
Good luck it's a lot of fun choosing just the right moniker.

I forgot on my previous list of names i am thinking about i really do like Poppins.
I might save the name Mogley for when i get a male boxer. My skinkids all have celtic name if anyone think of any good celtic names. i will go on that webpage tonight (i hope if i can stay awake beyond the kids)

I'm with Bella&Baxter on the B names. Bowzer was named after my hubbies first boxer when he was a kid. Bella was named because we needed a B name for a girl. We couldn't do Bailey since our friends had a boxer named Bailey....so Bella! I call her my little Bellisima.
As for the disney names, my vote goes to Cinder. I have to imagine yelling a dogs name (like at a dog park) and if it would be embarassing to either of us, it's a no.
