The end of an era

We said goodbye to our JC yesterday. She was a little over 13 years old and was the best doggie ever. She developed lymphoma recently and declined in health pretty quickly - she lasted about 9 weeks after we found the lumps . She had a pretty good last weekend but then started having seizures and quit eating. It was obviously time to help her. Her "boy" came to see her the night before and you can see in the picture how happy she was. We are going to miss her a lot...

She had a happy life and a content passing. She will be busy selecting the next pup to take over her post now.

Just saw this post. I am so very sorry for your loss. Your pic says it all. Pure love. That's what boxers are made off. We lost our sweet girl in January. She was almost 12. We miss her everyday.
