Ok Ron, thanks. I'm planning on going to look for one this weekend. I talked to my husband about your posting and told him that you sold me on the idea of one. Another question... Do you leave it on Brutus all the time or just when you're taking him out or what? Just not sure what the "norm" is for those things. Thanks!

Do any of you get good results with the flat nylon web kind of harness, to get your dog to pull less, or is the e-z walk one the only type that helps with pulling?

Well actually we only put it on Rocky when we're going somewhere. We are lucky enough to have a fenced in back yard so he wouldn't need a leash on a daily basis.

But I wouldn't think he would need to have it on him all the time anyway. I did leave it on him for a few hours the first day we got, just so he would get used it.

Hope that helps! Good luck!

YES! That helps A LOT! Thanks for the tips on the harness. I took Maggie to the park today to let her roam around and with as much pulling as she did I will DEFINITELY be getting the harness this weekend!

I just ordered Chico an easy walk harness on ebay. He pulls so hard and can almost squirm out of his collar. With all the pulling, his collar gets loose. I hear this is a good one, I hope so. I just heard it was good and went with it. I had to pick him up and carry him in the vet on Friday because I thought he would come out of his collar and maybe get in the road. He has free run of our yard, but I really need a harness to take him on walks around the neighborhood. Easy walk has a web site with sizing chart. That is what I went by, then went to ebay.

I just use a standard harness, with the leash clip on the back (middle of the dogs back). I also tried the harness on Zoey in the pet store, and walked her around with it on. There was an immediate difference in the way she walked! Zoey isn't a puller as bad as some dogs, so a standard kind like this worked for her. With her, it's more for jumping control! But it's a lot nicer for her neck if I do have to rein her in before she jumps on someone!

Just picked up the EZ walk harness for Hoss, first in a size large (I measured his chest girth, 34"). Well, the large was for up to 36" but it didn't fit. It was really tight behind his front legs. So I exchanged it for the XL, which seems loose across the front chest, even though it is adjusted small as it can go there. Fits across the lower strap though.

Is it OK for the chest strap part to be a little loose? I can put a whole hand in the gap.
