A few years ago a tornado hit downtown Ft. Worth (where I work) and did a lot of damage. I left early that day. It hit buildings as close as 5 blocks away, and also crossed one of the streets I drove home on. My company bought the land where one building had been hit and destoyed. They built a 20 story Home Office where I now work. Let's hope this spring when tornado season starts again, that we don't take a direct hit.
