As I said,

"Keep an eye on it and take it away when I gets too soft."

I am trying to have people learn from our mistake.

Maybe I need to clarify. We introduced frozen washcloths to her when she was teething. Well, she liked it, A LOT. She wanted to get her paws on them all the time, even when she wasn't teething. Well, she go a hold of one, snuck it actually (which was placed far back on a counter top, supposedly out of reach - but apparently not far enough), and ate it. We didn't even know she had eaten it until it returned 10 days later.

I just wanted to make sure that people are aware that even a big washcloth, which looks way too big to consume, can and will be eaten. Watch 'em like a hawk, only closer!

Some have recommended frozen bagels. I tried them when Ava started losing her teeth. Of course Indy had to have one also.

Would never have worked with our George, he only takes his bagles with cream cheese and jelly. The snob wont touch a bagle with out both LOL

I went the frozen washcloth route as well but pet stores also sell a white cloth-type bone shape that you wet and freeze--same effect just better marketing ploy for us dog nuts!
