Veeeery interesting....ok then...how do you wash them without them all coming undone? Don't your fingers get tangled up in it when you're trying to do it?? Do you ever need to trim the ends, like get the split ends off?? Are they comfortable to sleep on?

I'm just a little ball of questions aren't I?

p.s. I got to meet Lenny Kravitz a few years ago and I was transfixed on his, but I certainly didn't drill him about daily hygiene!

 your funny....i get these questions alot...but i dont mind...if comes with the hair

Ok....they dont come undone because they are dread LOCKED....its like the biggest hardest knot youve ever seen
washing them is like washing regular hair....your just lather and rince......my ring has got caught.....but not my finger
I havent trimmed any ends yet...because they are just getting a little longer....ill wait till they are way past my shoulders and them start trimming.......for sleeping.....its like extra cushion;)

Ok ok...one more question and then I swear I'll leave you alone....

The "lock" part is "the biggest hardest knot"... how does that happen? I mean, if you leave the salon with "ringlets" how does it progress to knots?

Thanks for the answers...I've always wondered!!!;)

I have one tattoo on my left shoulder (bicep) of a Native American Eagle Feather talisman for good luck. I'd like to have a boxer tattoo, but the first one hurt and I'm not sure I want to go through that again. Don't let anyone tell you it doesn't hurt because it does. I was ready to pass out by the time the artist finished mine, and it isn't that big. Color ink hurts worse than black too.

I had my ear pierced in 1968 and always wore a tiny gold lightening bolt in my ear, until everyone and their grandkids started piercing their ears. When John McEnroe, the tennis player got his ear pierced, I knew it was time to take out my earring and let the hole grow back. So, that's what I did and I haven't had an earring since then.

I went crazy at this stuff when I turned 18. foolicon I got a bird tattoo on my chest, an angel on my left ankle with my daughters name under it, and I had my tongue pierced, but too many people said it was a gay thing and I had to take it out.

I have an appointment with the tatto artist scheduled for August 24. My husband has 3 and we decided it would be fun to take a field trip to his tatto artist in Des Moines (2 hrs away) and get tattoed. Im a little nervous but I am planning on getting a sun design on my lower back.

No tattoos...never been too interested but a week or so ago I went down and had my belly button pierced. I've been thinking about it for over a year now and my husband has been wanting me to do it. It only cost $25 so I decided to go for it. A few hours after I got it done I went back and told them I changed my mind and wanted it out...lol. I wear lots of short shirts and just couldn't get used to the fact that every time I looked down there would be something hanging there. I also found out afterwards that it takes any where from 6-12 months to heal. Then what if I decided I didn't want it anymore after it had healed...was I going to have a permmanent hole in my belly?? I have a 6 (will be 7 next month) yr old daughter who I have to be a role model for anyway and every one knows kids usually do worse things than their parents. If she thinks mom approves of piercings then what will she do to rebell once she hits her teen years??;)

Thanks for the dread lock info...can't wait to tell my husband. He always thought people w/ them just never washed their hair again...lot's of people have them in our area and every time he saw someone w/ them he commented on how nasty their hair was...hehehe. He'll be surprised to know they really do wash their hair...lol. He knew a guy that had them and the guy told him he couldn't wash his hair...maybe the guy was in the first month. :D

I have a question now...I know if I don't wash my hair every day the second day it starts to look oily...how can you go for a month w/o washing and it not look oily? All the dread locks I've ever seen always look extra dry and brittle...just wondering. One more question...If they get extra dry can they break off? Don't think I'm dumb but I've seen lots of people w/ them but don't know any of them...They all look like their hair is going to break if it gets bent...hehehe.
