Tattooed and/or Pierced?

It's not so bad. I had my largish brother come with me cos I was a little nervous. It was funny. He was poised on the other side of the curtain ready to bust through at the slightest sound

I wore appropriate underwear (so I could leave them on). It was a little weird when he told me I'd have to bend over the chair! I must say that he was very gentlemanly, didn't comment at all about my HUGE butt! The guy who did it is Tony Cohen. I don't know if any of you have heard of him, but apparently he is well known. (It was only after he'd done mine that I found a book he'd published on the history of body art)

I like the tattoo I got, and I like where I got it. Only people I want to show will see it. ALTHOUGH....I am thinking of getting another on my shoulder.....maybe it will be a boxer? (Probably another dragon though!)

And of course now I am the bad seed of the family. Even though I was 26 when I had it done, it was MY fault when my brother who is only a year younger than me got a HUGE goanna tattooed over his right shoulder and upper arm and coming down almost onto his chest. Obviously my little 2 1/2 inch baby dragon in a discreet place opened the floodgates!

My husband and I both do.......I have a japanese band of flowers on my rist.....a star on both upper arms with little stars around them.....i have a butterfly on one ancle and a trible sun on the other.......I have my libret pierced....its right under my mouth...above my chin......we had out tounge pierced but i chipped a tooth so we took them out.....its not worth losing your teeth :rolleyes:

I get all kinds of comments on my hair im as white as can be and have dreadlocks....

My husband is a drummer...and he is covered in tattoos....he even has my name on his back in BIG LETTERS......he says if i leave him (never) that he will have tattooed.......under my name "left me"

I plan on getting LOTS MORE :D

I only have my ear lobes pierced and that hurt like hell!!!! Never again. When my daughter was about 8 she nagged me to death about getting her ears done and I finally caved in. When they did it I almost fainted!!!One day when she was 15 she came home with her nose pierced and we were shocked!!!!! We hated it and she loved it! Typical!! Anyway one day she had to go to our dentist( who is a real hardcase!) and he was totally fascinated. He kept asking her things like< when she gets a cold does snot come out the hole!!! ROFLMAO Guess what? She took it out and never wore it again! LOL

I finally found something I could live with. A wolf.
My son has gone crazy with his and one day will realize.......
He's a gemini too and we can change our minds fast as the ink dries!
My wolf head is on my upper arm and I love it. Its kinda big but I've always liked the shock effect. LOL.I was over 40 before I got mine.To stoned in the 70's to bother. Had some moss grow on me once.
I've got another awaiting me at the studio of a beautiful cat with angel wings, a tilted halo and horns!!
Now the moneys tight with the rescue. Hey! You guys could help out here? LOL.

I just wanted to say that I am a HUGE fan of dreadlocks. I think they are so beautiful. Are your's super long?? We went out to breakfast the other day and our waitress had dreads down to her butt and it was all I could do to not stare. I did tell her that I like them, so she wouldn't think I was weird staring at her :D

Dreadlocks....can you wash those? When you're tired of them can you brush them out or do you have to cut them out?

T-Mom: I just started mine a little over a year ago...they are at my shoulders......I want to grow them super long :D

deb- I was mine everyother day with regular shampoo...but for the very first month i couldnt wash them at all ....as far as "if i dont want them anymore" you would have to shave your head........but since I never want "normal" hair again.....it works for me :p .......I love wash n' go!!!!!! I never want to ROUND BRUSH AGAIN

Reyna's mom....how does one go about 'starting' dreadlocks?? Do you have to start twisting your hair or does it eventually just do that? (this fascinates me!) Do you have a pic of yours you could share with us??

Proudboxermomma: Looks like a boxer to me! (or maybe a mastiff?) Anyhoo....you can take literally ANY picture into a tattoo place and they can duplicate it. AMAZING!

I started them by going to a salon that does that kind of stuff....they were like "are you sure this is something you want to do" i was like YES......they were like okkayyyy........

What she did was put all kinds of STUFF in my hair.....and section them off......then she twisted my hair up on my head like a bunch of little buns.........and put me under the blowdryer......for a very long time.......once that was done she took out the little bun things and let them lose.......basicaly then i had alot of ringlets......(i was so ignorant...i thought i would automaticaly have dreadlocks......NOT)......after she did that .....i couldnt was my hair for over a month.....and had to sleep in a night cap......i would twist my hair constantly.........IT WAS ALOT OF WORK.....but now i dont have to do alot at all.......now i just keep them separated...and CLEAN.

I dont have any pictures of me just of RAYNA.....but this weekend a bunch of us from here are getting together in Irvine California and Im sure we will be taking pictures....Ill have my husband take of with her and I and ill put the pic on here so you can see the dreads :cool:
