Taming aggression in older dog and puppy.

Boxer Buddy
Davinci is 9 yrs old. He is extremely nice to people, but when dogs bark at him he goes crazy and is unforgiving in the future. He can be cool with a dog, play with him/her, and then out the blue days or weeks later he wants to brawl with him/her. Mainly it is a him. I believe he is an alpha dog. I used to take him to doggy day care but sometimes he does good and other times he is bad. When his twin was with him, they'd both get kicked out if there were other boxers--they were the ring leaders of the boxer gang. I am taking him to a new doggy day care after being out of them for almost two years and I am afraid they will say they can't board him in the future. Is there a way to get him acclimated to other dogs?

The newest pup, a female, is also an alpha. She barks at every dog for no reason. This started at roughly 12 weeks when I got her. She doesn't care the size, breed, or sex. Just like Davinci she is unforgiving. She has never gotten into an altercation and her first time at doggy day care will be on Thursday. Is the older dog's behavior rubbing off or is this typical puppy behavior? She plays so rough with Davinci--constantly barking to get him to play, baiting him, and pulling at his skin around his neck. Guess, I'll have to wait and see what the doggy day care evaluation says. I told them to keep the two separate. I'm hoping all goes well because she is EXTREMELY hyperactive and needs doggy day care for her anxiety/separation issues.
