Hello, everyone! My name is Dawn and Sugar is my baby! His full name is Sugar Ray, but he is so sweet that just "Sugar" fits him best. He has been a part of our family for 4 years now. We adopted him from a rescue group when he was about 7 months old. I never really liked dogs before we got Sugar...in fact, I resisted getting a dog for quite a while. However, my husband and kids really wanted to get a boxer. When I found Sugar on an online pet rescue website, I knew we had to go meet him. Needless to say, Sugar is MY dog through and through! He follows me everywhere and even checks all the rooms in the house for me when I'm not home. When I get out of bed, he gets up, too. He only does this with me, so my husband thinks it is a riot. I love this dog!!! When life gets hard (which it does for all of us) I am so thankful that Sugar is there to love on. He is just the best! I will upload a photo once the approval goes through.
