Boxer Pal
Well, Camerson didn't have PDA; she has Subaortic Stenosis. Her diagnosis is described as "severe" and her LVOTV max.=4.5 to 5.0 M/sec. Does anyone know what that means? She's on ateno
and given a 5-8 year life span "with aggressive medical treatment and absolutely the least amount of exertion possible. However, Camerson will die before 2-3 years of age if she is permitted to exercise and get excited." She had her echo done and was diagnosed at the University of Georgia Vet School Feb 8. She's doing fine on her treatment, but I was wondering if anyone has had any experience/knowledge with such a severe case and how was/is the outcome of their baby? And...any advice on helping her gain weight? She's 7 1/2 months old and weights about 35 lbs. I used to give her eukenuba (?) large breed puppy dry and wet mix, but she just didn't eat much. I just started this week feeding her homemade chicken and rice and she's eating the heck out of that and I think gaining weight. What's your thoughts on that as well. Thank you all so much!!
