Studding my Boxer

I don't quite know how to ask this question - but how would I use my dog as a Stud? He's very healthy, handsome, great temperment, AKC registered, championship bloodlines, all that good stuff - but how do I start? Do I list him on particular websites? At what age can we start studding him? Any advice on how to "promote" him or tips on having a stud?

You need to get him in the show ring so that he can work towards and obtain his own championship status. Having championship bloodlines means nothing in as far as how he is to be perceived. He needs to be "judged" to ensure that he is all that a Boxer should be.
Once he has obtained his own championship he needs to have all of the appropriate health testing done to see if he can be cleared of certain health issues that affect the breed.
Once all of that is done and he has been cleared health-wise you can then start your search for breeders with females that have also done all of the necessary health testing and shown them, also receiving their championship status.
You would then need to compare their female to your male and see which qualities one might be lacking that the other can help with (correct) in their offspring. Making sure they compliment each other is your goal while you do everything in your power to better the breed.
To skip any of the steps above would put you in the back yard breeder category.

I agree with Cami...just because you have an intact, pretty, "healthy" boxers does not mean he should be bred. The only reason to breed a dog is to better the breed, not put money in your pocket.
You need to prove that he's worthy of being bred and is a good representative of the breed. You do this by having him judged in the conformation ring. Finishing him in the breed ring is only your first step. The next step is complete full health testing, here is a little bit on that here:

Like Cami stated, to do anything less than this just makes you another backyard breeder polluting the gene pool with more untested, unproved boxers which is terribly irresponsible.

My first suggestion to you is to find your local breed club, get a mentor and have your dog evaluated. Read up on the boxer standard:

That said, even if he's not conformationally sound doesn't make him any less of a boxer, it just means he shouldn't be bred. I have a bitch from show lines and she is gorgeous, but because of certain faults she's now spayed and now she just takes up half of my couch .

May I ask why you want to stud him out? There is certainly no shortage of Boxers out there (check the rescues, shelters, etc). So if your aren't interested in showing, doing all the health tests, ensuring each pup is placed on a spay / neuter contract, and agree that either you or the Bitch's family will take the pups back if (at any point in their lives) the new owner cannot keep them then I suggest you get him neutered. So many people are breeding these dogs with no thought of how they are contributing to the pet over population. We KILL MILLIONS of dogs every year in the US. Many of those dogs are purebred boxers. I see many AKC registered boxers ending up in the rescue. Many of them are gorgeous & "healthy" just like your boy. We honestly don't need more.

I'll throw my mantra in here as it seems fitting....Until all of the boxers sitting in shelters and rescues have a forever home of their own, we don't need to be making any more. So, please, take a careful look at your motivations for studding him out instead of having him neutered. And remember that unless you are breeding for show...statistics state that 2 out of 5 of his puppies will eventually end up homeless and/or euthanized.
