Bridget is 15 months old and I notice she is getting more spots/freckles on her belly and legs and they are getting darker. Someone actually asked me if she was part Dalmation the other day foolicon!!
Is this typical of the boxer?

Are the spots on her white areas? Pigment spots on the skin are pretty usual and increase with age.

Yes the spots are only on her white areas.
Thanks for the answer and now I know what they are called!!! :)

Addie is reverse brindle (about 8 mo now! My how the time flies). She has spots all over her white chest and belly. With all the spots and stripes we call her the party dog :)

When Riker first started getting his spots, I thought they were sticky patches with dirt on them (that's what they really looked like!)

I tried to scrub them off haha... the more he got, the more they came to resemble freckles and I stopped trying to wash the poor little guy. Now I love his freckle belly, I just wasn't expecting it!

When Moto came home he didn't have any spots. Now he has lots and he is only eight months old. I can't believe he is eight months old already.

My perfectly "spotless" Daisy now has spots everywhere!! And they came on so fast; I think they double every day. I anticipate her being "spotted" to perfection very soon!:)

I was just going to start a thread about this until I saw this one. Champ is almost 2. When I got him, he didn't have any spots at all, and now there's about 15 on his white chest.
So this will just increase with age?

When we got Billy nearly 1 year ago he did not have any spots on his white chest - he now has loads. My children call them his happy spots!!!
