Spoooooooky Halloween!

I'm not a huge believer in ghost, but I tell ya I think last night changed my mind.
While watching TV, the channels just started to flip through really fast, I was the only one home and had the remote sitting on the end table, no buttons were stuck. Then it started turning it self on and off. Then it started turning it self on and off and switching through channels. Then it went to the guide channel and switched through days. So I go over and turn it off and it won't turn off, so I unplug it and it turned on, then off. I plug it back in and it won't turn on, wait a few minutes and it turns on, but throughout the night it would turn itself off, then I'd have to turn it back on. NO big deal, just thought maybe something was wrong with the box then headed to bed. So this morning, the alarm went off and I laid there for a while, the next thing I know I here someone using the bathroom then I hear the toliet flush (Clover and I are the only ones home, and we're both on the bed). I got up and out of the house fast this morning!

So who was using the toilet? I had our digital cable box do bizaare things and I have had a tv on the blink do something similar (just to reassure you ) But....weird stuff like this happened at my Grandma's all the time, the taps used to turn off and on in the bathroom. Everyone told her the place was haunted, lights would go off and on and things would get moved from one place to another, but she would tell everyone they were being silly and it was nothing....the line was drawn one day when a photograph was taken in the house and in the background was the image of an old lady. Truly unexplainable...then my Grandma moved!

This also used to happen in my sisters house, french doors used to open...and my niece would go to bed and only to wake up to have a burgandy blanket placed over her everymorning.....I witnessed some of this babysitting,,,,needless to say I never went there again.....when asked about my niece going to the closet and getting the blanket....she said it was the old women making sure she was warm every nite ??:eek:

I really hate that spooky stuff, you are way braver than me, i woulda been out of there the first time the tv shut off on it's own. But My sister told me a really spooky one once. My neice was 3, and one sat morning she got up early and my sister heard her playing and talking to herself, then my neice came into the bedroom and told my sister that the little boy in the bathroom was being mean to her and could mommy go and tell him to leave. So my sister (living in the country with rude neighbors) actually thought one of the neighborhood kids was in the house, so she walks into the bathroom, and no child, then my neice looks at the corner and said "See, i told you my mommy would ask you to leave if you arent nice to me" so my sister, again much braver than me, just said, "if you cant play nice, you have to leave" so she walked this "person" out the garage, and my neice said Thank you mommy, he was picking on me. And apparently, my neice talks to my grandmother every week, course my grandmother has been dead for 3 yrs now. And at christmas last year when my rescue cat died, my neice said that "granny wanted a cat" eerie!!!
I dont necessarily believe, but i dont disbelieve, i just ask to be left ignorant! :D
