Sash our 4 month old was spayed on last friday. Anyway we dropped her off at 8 that friday and then picked her up at five that day. Got her home she ate and drank some water and slept the rest of the night. Anyway saturday she was pretty normal tried to play put we really wouldnt let her. So now its about five days later and it seems that where the incision is under the skin its swollen and hard kinda like a half golf ball size is this normal. She seems to be fine but I'm alittle carious about it. Any knowledge or input would be great thanks!

Have you been back to the vet for a follow up check yet? If not I'd give them a ring just to have a look.
You'll feel much better with your mind at rest.

Are the sutures on the outside or are they all internal? Last month our puppy was spayed and all sutures were internal. She got a hard lump too and we took her in and the vet said it was just normal inflammation, no hernia. At 4 weeks she had a reaction to the sutures and had another surgery to remove them and then had external sutures. She gets those out this weekend. I would call your vet to see if you should be concerned or not. It's probably nothing to worry about.

I would have your vet take a look but it is most likely a seroma. If you search for this word you will find some threads here. Leila had one and it took a about 6 weeks and several follow up visits after the surgery for it to completely drain. All is good to go now. No residual issues.
