Something strange just happened

I was sitting by the computer, and Baxter was laying on the floor chewing on a sock, the next thing i know, he starts to pee and he was still laying there (it was a lot!). It was like he didnt even know he was going. Hes 7 months old now.

anyone ever heard of such a thing?

It's possible that he may have an UTI or Bladder infection. Just a thought.

My Duke did that once. He was just sitting there and started going. He just sat there. But he never did it again. He was about 5 months old I belive. Maybe it is just a puppy thing... Sorry I couldnt be more helpful.

Tyson has done that before...I screached a bit and he looked at me like "Whhaaaaaat????" and then I rushed him outside. He was still very very confused. That was the one and only time that happened... He had just been licking himself (down there) so I wondered if maybe he just stimulated it and he didn't really feel it after....

Yes! If he has a UTI, it is possible it will happen again soon. Think about how you feel when you have a UTI--you need to go really badly. He would probably feel the same way.

Cypress had a UTI and he would pee without even noticing. He would be just standing their and all the sudden be letting a stream go. It was right after he was neutered so didn't know if that caused it or not. He is 5 1/2 and completely potty trained so he would have known not to go inside... much less while he was standing their eating. Get him to the vet for a urine sample. Cypers infection cleared up within a few days. Give him a good pet for me and kisses from Cypress... he knows how that feels.

What i mean is, it hasnt happened since yesterday (almost 24 hours) so dont you think he would have had another accident by now?

When my tyson was a puppy he was sleeping one night and started peeing. It woke my up but not him, I had to wake him up. I felt so bad for him, he had no idea he wet himself, it was like he was a little kid.
