Apollo went to sleep Sunday night without a care in the world, all tired from playing with Zeus. We awoke to him vomiting in his cage at 4:45am on Monday, thinking he might have had an upset stomach, we cleaned him up and back we bed we all went.

It repeats again at 5:15am, and then again at 6:30am, buy now we are on our way to the emergency vet (happens to be the same vet we always use), they are along the same thought we are that it is just an upset stomach. Possibly he got into something in the back yard .

They treat him with some anti-biotics, anti-inflamatory, and some stuff to settle his GI track. At this point, he had throw up twice more before they saw him. We were told that if he was still throwing up this morning, to bring him right in.

Throughout yesterday, you could tell something was wrong, he wasn't hype like he always is, he wasn't barking at me when I wouldn't play with him, and he surely wasn't playing with Zeus, and this in turn made Zeus depressed.

He threw up twice more while I was home, and then once more when my wife returned home. He was fine through the night until this morning when he threw up twice more, so we rushed him back to the vet.

As of this morning, Apollo has been hospitialized for a battery of tests, medicine, x-rays, and and all special enima. The vet believes he might have a blockage in his instestines somewhere.

I can't for the life of me think of what he could have gotten into or possibly ate, they both stay inside all day and only go out to use the bathroom.

The vet kept going over charges for this, and charges for that, until I got sick of it and had to tell him to stop. I handed him my debit card and told her "you charge me whatever you need to charge me to fix Apollo, no questions asked, cost is of no importance right now, my dog back to himself is." I think at this point she realized I wasn't one to worry over costs when it came to my guys.

He was so upset when we had to take off his collar, he knew at that point he wasn't leaving with us. It about broke our hearts knowing our baby was sick. My wife and I don't have kids yet, so Zeus and Apollo are our kids, I will spare no expense to ensure their happiness.

We are suppose to get an update at 4pm to the tests, and I believe X-rays are going to be run tomorrow morning.

We have our fingers and paws crossed for you.

We had a similar incident with Mayhem 2 weeks ago. It ended up being a blockage in her small intestine due to a corn cob she somehow got a hold of during a cookout we had at home. Apollo's symptoms sound very similar to what was happening with Mayhem. I find it odd that your vet won't have a diagnosis until 4pm. We brought Mayhem in at 3 pm, it was diagnosed in 20 minutes (though physical exam and XRays), she had surgery right away, and we got a call at 5:30 same day saying she did fine through surgery and that it was a piece of corn cob. I'd be bugging the crap out of the vet having to wait all day like that for a diagnosis!!!

Goodluck, let us know how everything goes!!
