So Mad at FedEx... and thankful for Petco

I came home just 10 minutes ago to let the dogs into the house when I noticed that there were quite a bit of shredded cardboard out in the yard...

Then I realized it was my Petco order that consisted of about 5lbs of dog treats, 1 canister of odor neutralizer, and a Chuck-It. Thankfully I found the odor neutralizer un-touched and the Chuck-It still in decent shape that it can be used, but all the treats were gone...

I was so mad at FedEx, why do they throw the package over the back yard gate? It had a "Beware of Dog" sign on it too!!!... So I called Petco immediately and explained what happened and they are going to send me the treats again and file a claim with FedEx... They were very nice about it, I'm at least happy about that... but the idoit who is the FedEx driver should be fired!!! oh well, no dinner for my two tonight... 1/2 of the total treats I ordered was liver too...

So I sent my hubby out to the yard in the cold last night to pick up the pieces and he actually collected about 1/2 of the biscuits that I bought scattered throughout the yard... but the 5# of liver...it's all gone.

BooBoo's stomach seems to be ok, but Courage was puking up liver all night long... Had to feed them some rice to calm their stomachs down... oh well, at least 1/2 of the biscuits were salvaged, and more coming...

Not sure why this reminds me of it, but when we had our cocker spaniel years ago, I was getting ready to fry a pound of bacon for a salad and before the pan heated up, he grabbed the pound of bacon off of the counter and demolished it. I can still hear that squirting sound that would wake us up in the middle of the night...

gotta love Petco!!! I never thought a franchise like that would be so understanding in all aspects, but every experience I've had there has been great! I just love it- even for grooming, which I used to be a bit weary of! YAY PETCO!

Oh my goodness!!! how horrible... I hope my FedEx guy didn't do that...although I have a gate closing mechanism that pretty much shut it even if i don't intentionally close it all the way...
