Snow in Atlanta!

We got about 2 inches last night. The whole city shut down. I know its nothing for you northerners but when it snows here its a big deal. The sad part is my boxer got neutered yesterday and can't go out and play :( I feel really bad because it never snows here and this will probably be his only chance for a while. My lab loves catching the snowballs and can't figure out why his buddy can't go out and play with him.

I was just going to post about this!! YAY! I had to go to work, late, of course, so Boom and I got to enjoy his first "snow". It was more like a dusting where I live, but it was enough for him to get out in it. I took pics, so as soon as I can they'll be posted. Maybe all of the talk on the "How's the Weather" thread about us southerners wanting at least little snow worked!

It's snowing here too! As I'm typing it's coming down really hard. It's supposed to be clear by this weekend but it'll be good while it lasts. It seems like all we get is ice and I'm glad to see the snow. No school today! Taya doesn't seem to like the snow. I made her go out this morning to use the bathroom but she won't go back out now. I guess I'll have to make her again. I thought we were gonna have fun in the snow today but...Oh well.

man if you guys want snow come here!!!! we got the big maritime storm last thursday, then again on sunday, and then again last night! the snow on our step is almost level with the roof!!! our cars are out there somewhere i'm sure in a snowbank, and the front door was snowed up so that we couldn't open it. we had to go out the back way (the door opens inward), and i have to admit it was pretty funny when dh opened the back door to discover it was "snowed up" too, and everything fell in the door on him!!! the poor puppy, thank goodness his muttluks came in the mail yesterday... just on time. :p

I just measured 8 inches in my front yard and they say it may stop by noon....TOMORROW! :eek: Can someone mail me a shovel??:rolleyes:

Actually today here in Ontario, it is quite nice The sun is shining, most of the snow has melted and I can see the lawn again :D Took the dogs outside for a run and I did not require a coat, just my pullover sweater. How nice it is here I am just now on my way out to the Balcony to enjoy my coffee and bask in the sunshine I LOVE days like today

It is a treat when you get snow in Atlanta!!
The snow here is all gone....it's 44 degrees today and it's gonna be in the 50's tomorrow. We've had a great week of warm weather.

I guess we should update ya'll...I heard we're going to be in the 60's this weekend!! Isn't that just bizarre weather? Snow, sleet, ice on Thursday morning, and 60 deg high Sat/65 Sunday. WOW!!

maannnnnnn!!!!it is snowing up a storm here!it's beautiful and the boys love it!!i don't think herkie is liking it so much now because it's touching his belly:p !!! they are so goofy out there!!i hope it stops soon, i think we are getting close to a foot now!!i need to get out so i can go pick up my paycheck and my daughter!she's snowed in at a girlfriends house.maybe it'll melt a little tomorrow.
