Smilies -where are they??

I don't have access to smilies. Under posting rules, it says smilies are on. I don't believe that I did anything to inactivate. Is there something I have to do?? Thanks.

When you reply to a post, they should be on the right hand of the box where you type. Are they not there? Also where is says Smiles are on, you should be able to click on Smiles and the page of Smiles should come up.

No, they aren't anywhere to be seen... And when I click on "smilies are on" under posting rules, it takes be to the FAQ page & this isn't an interactive feature.

AHA!!! I went into my User profile - settings. Found a textbox option &changed it... Voila! Smiles now appear to the right of the textbox, as you describe, Jan. Thanks so much appicon

I am having the same issue with smilies. I have been into my user profile-settings, but still cannot find anything to switch smilies on! The "Smilies ON" is working at the bottom of the page, but when I click I see all the smilies, but no way to activate them.

Click on "User CP" at top of page. Then, along left side:

Your Control Panel --> Settings & Options - Click on Edit Options

Opens options on right side. Scroll down to Miscellaneous Options.

In drop-down box, choose "Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls"

Click on Save Changes & you should be good to go.
