Unfortnitly, we had to stop our babies from sleeping in bed with us. This is a training tactic, apparently they will be better behaved when left alone if they are not allowed to sleep in the bed, lounge on the couch, etc... I have to say that so far they have been a little bit better while I'm at work.

Ours sleep in the bed with us for the most part. They each have a bed in our room and Lexi starts out on hers but finds her way into the bed with us half way through the night. Baxter is in the bed before we are  You'd think we were torchering him if we made him get on the floor. This morning, we woke up with all 3 in the bed with us. Now that was a bit much :)

Tucker sleeps in his bed (or to us humans, his crate) at night. I have to get up before God though in the A.M., so after his morning potty, Tucker gets to go upstairs and sleep in with daddy for an hour or so. On the weekends he's there with both of us. Nothing like waking up with a boxer foot (or butt, or nose ) in your face.

I have to say that I'm quite surprised that the majority do have their dogs in bed.

I agree with uno, my dogs don't even come upstairs (apart from for a bath) nevermind in the bed. They're not allowed on the sofas either.

A good poll would be to compare UK with USA, because I'm sure more USA people have their dog in bed, than UK people. It must be our British reserve!!

Ana is lavished with almost everything a boxer could want, BUT there are three house rules:

nonoicon
not on the bed
not on the couch
no food from the table

just our personal preference.

Most nights Megan sleeps in our bed but she does venture out some nights to sleep on her own.

Tobee was sleeping in his crate at night untill a few months ago. he loves to sleep in bed with us, and boy does he hog up most of it. Jake usually sleeps by the side of the bed, untill this week. We bought a king bed so that Scott and I could sleep in bed with Tobee. Jake now figures there is room enough for all four of us. We put our queen in the spare room. They both really like to take naps or wrestle on it. They were never allowed to fight in bed, but now they can on the queen.

I must be really bad.....not only does Deuce sleep on the bed, but he sleeps under the covers, with his head on my pillow, on my arm. If he gets too cold, he will move all the way under the covers. He is 8 months and sleeps toes to toes with me. He is definitely my baby. During naps, he will sleep in my lap and put his head on my neck. :D

Awwww, I can just picture all the snuggling boxers out there....

I, for some reason, started letting Gilroy and Purdy into bed just this year. They're very good about it. When I get into bed, they always wait to be invited up, and if they crowd me at night, they get down when told. Most nights, one of them is on the floor again by morning, for whatever reason.
I just love waking up to a dog to snuggle with!!! I'm very physical with my babies. Can't get enough of their fuzzy little muzzles and soft tummies!!!

Gilroy usually gets up first, and then Purdy burrows her way between us, head first with her forelegs back along her ribs. She looks so uncomfortable, but that little tail just wiggles like crazy. They still see coming to bed as a special treat.

The only problem is the HAIR. I think I need to start bathing them about twice as often.

I never let Cinders sleep with us but then along come Britany and I call her to go to bed with me!
A bedhog second to none. She loves to morning cuddle dad and me.
In cold Wisconsin we welcome the extra body heat! LOL
