Ruby and Luka used to sleep on my bed but now sleep in their crates at night, they have a large one each with lots of blankets :)

Billy sleeps on his big comfy, squishy bed, on the landing half way up the stairs. He is not allowed on the furniture or upstairs.

We try to not let Wyatt and Bruno in our bedroom becuase they would shed all over our new white comforter so they curl up together on the couch. It is so cute to wake up in the morning and see them snuggling!

When I get new puppy Harry, I cant crate him as somedays I would be working for 6hours and
Wouldn’t get home. So I will have to have them separated at night for a while till harry is bigger?
Or what do you all suggest? Its only been over a yr since I had a puppy, and I am starting to
Get very nervous about what to do, how to cope etc.. I am sure it’s the same with all "new borns"!!!

Definitely start crating the pup when you get him. It helps you build a family structure and teaches him, you are the leader of the house. Trust me, it will make good manner training easier and control any behavioral issues that tend to happen. Not to mention, house training will be so much easier.

Do you think Sammy wil be ok with new puppy. Harry will be 9wks when we bring him home?
I would not leave the new puppy un-attended with Sammy. It literally takes seconds for something bad to happen and although Sammy is yours and you trust him, you don't know for sure what can happen. It's better to be safe than sorry. Plus, that will help the puppy bond closer to you than to Sammy. Dog's who are always alone with each other tend to bond to each other more than their owner. Good luck.

Millie & Oscar either sleep in the bed with us or on the floor in their beds. The other night, I got ran out of bed by both Millie & dbf. Dbf was snoring so loud he'd wake himself up on occasion. Millie was in between us and kept turning herself so she was laying perpendicular and kicking me... AND she was snoring... So I ended up going to the other bedroom to sleep and left those two disruptive sleepers to themselves! LoL

Hi Alex...

How long can you leave the puppy in crate before he needs to pee etc?
As i will be out of the house for up to 6hours etc.. should I only crate when I am home? any advice welcome???

My two sleep in bed with us. Things are cramped especialy when Stephen insists that they can lay on him

Abbie sleep right beside me, head on my pillow and covered up but for somereason she like to sleep with her legs towards me instead of her back so I get kicked all night. Once we are settled in, I can't move because Abbie has to be as close as possible and then some, if I move over an inch, she moves towards me 2 inches! Brady at one time slept in the middle between us but has migrated to the bottom of the bed although the last couple of nights I go in to find him all snuggly on my pillow.

Dempsey sleeps in bed between DBF and myself. On a bad night he gets up a million times and changes positions. On a good night we all wake up in the EXACT same position we went to sleep in! I couldn't imagine a night sleeping without my baby.

Atlas usually sleeps on the loveseat. Sometimes he wants to sleep with me but will only stay there about an hour and then its back on the loveseat or in his dads chair.

Juke sleeps with us in our bed either in middle or top of the bed, we did buy him a bed of his own but the cat claim it and she sleeps on it. He does not like to be moved when he is getting his beauty sleep, he gives of a small growl when you move him to oneside. His big feet get in the way and you end up with your back or butt hanging out of the bed getting cold. But we love him.x x x x x
