Rocky starts off upstairs in bed with one of the kids. If he has to go potty during the night he comes downstairs to get us. After that he usually goes back to bed with the kids or lately he has been coming downstairs with us. Hubby works nights and if he's home then there's no room. I'll tolerate for awhile but i like my sleep so Rocky gets booted off and back upstairs he goes!
I have to say that in the mornings he goes bed hopping. Whoever is in the bed the longest he snuggles up to.

Now that the DH works third shift, they sleep in my bed! I hate sleeping by myself!!! :( On the weekends, they sleep peacefully in the doggie beds! I'm so surprised that Chief hasn't shredded his yet. He seems to love it! :)

Waldo sleeps on his own pillow bed, plus normal sized pillow and blanket-in our room at the foot of our bed,I think he loves this spot, because in Winter he can snuggle under the end of our doona while still at floor level:)
He's never really been interested in sleeping on our bed,he looks uncomfortable there:(

Bayleigh starts out the night on her comfy bed on the floor of our bedroom. Halfway through the night she get on our bed, bulldozes her way under the blankets, turns around and lays with her head on my pillow and her body under the blankets.

dafzichu

Completely Boxer Crazy
Snubby likes to start the night out on her bed which is right next to mine, except she likes to get up in the middle of the night and wake me to put her on the bed (she can't make the jump very well). Because of this, I usually just hoist her up on the bed first thing, she settles in next to me in a ball and stays put until morning.

MomofMillie

Millie has been sleeping in her crate since we first got her-at first it was in our room, but now it has been moved to the living room. She is an angel in there and never whines before bed. On the weekends or a few select nights she sleeps in our bed, especially if DB is out of town. She WILL NOT sleep at the foot of the bed though, she has to be basically on you with her head on the pillow and snoring in your ear. That's why it's mostly weekends, b/c we get no sleep

Anyone else's baby snore??

Roxy_girl

Boxer Booster
Roxy likes to sneek in and sleep with my boys she started to do that to avoid the crate at night not fair to have her out and Bumper in his crate, but since he is gone no more crate for Roxy(she would bug him non stop if she was left loose) during the day she sleeps on the couch or in the lazyboy!!

Thanks all, this has turned out to be a very interesting thread..
I am quite amazed at home many sleep in their owners beds or in bedrooms etc!
When I tell friends sammy is now in my room they think I am mad. Last night
He slept straight through for 8 hours! He then woke us up and I let him out for pee..
When I get new puppy Harry, I cant crate him as somedays I would be working for 6hours and
Wouldn’t get home. So I will have to have them separated at night for a while till harry is bigger?
Or what do you all suggest? Its only been over a yr since I had a puppy, and I am starting to
Get very nervous about what to do, how to cope etc.. I am sure it’s the same with all "new borns"!!!

Sammy is outside all day when I go to work (he has huge area and two houses! So I wrecken 1st few wks harry will be in kitchen when I am not around.. Then I will supervise them both together each day when I get back from work! Oh the joys of the potty training all over again!

Do you think Sammy wil be ok with new puppy. Harry will be 9wks when we bring him home?
