lap dogs
I have learned that whether they are puppys or fully grown, they do not know their sizes. Our two are not allowed on any furniture other then in the bedroom. At first I was against animals in the bed, until owning a boxer. They are deff a different breed, and become more lovable when something is wrong. Our male and female are different in the ways they approach getting attention.
Sugar, our female wants to be close and on our lap when she wants to be. If she is in her mood to be lovable, she crawls and lays all over us 24/7. If she wants to be around us, but doesn't want to be touched and we touch her, she flips out and pouts for a while.
Buddy, our male on the other hand is a big lazy teddy bear. He normally does his own thing and doesn't try to be a lap dog until we don't want him to be. He'll come and get on our laps like he is a little dog, but he usually stays for a short period of time.
I say this information, and forgot to say how jelous my babies are of each other. If one is getting attention, the other stops what they were doing and comes and pries their way right in the middle. They are deff. most like a lap dog at night time, and want to be right on top of us while we are sleeping. We have to trick these two so we are able to get comfortable before they come pile on top of us. It took me a while to learn to share the bed, they are also prone to be cover hogs!
