Should we keep her name?

I agree with the rest of the responses. My dog's name was Madonna when we got her and we just didn't think that was fair to the dog ;-) We called her both the old and new names together in quick succession (MadonnaGwen) to ease the transition and eventually just dropped the "Madonna." She picked it up with no problem. Good Luck!
P.S. My vote is for Gracie by the way.

Yes, another Gracie vote here. I also love Poppy :)

I think it would be fine to change her name, after all it's going to be a whole new life for her :)

Thank you for all your input ;) We decided to go with Gracie and not Thatchers twin, we did get a littermate of his but she is a smaller red fawn and a real sweetie lovicon I'm so glad we decided on this sister, his twin was a real stinker foolicon We have enough to control Thatcher nonoicon So now our family is complete and Gracie really fits in well!! Thank you all for your help.

My dog Fred came with that name from the rescue. However, when he was found, he had no tags and we never did find out what his previous name was. So, he is now a Fred.
Wilma came to us as Corona, which we thought was reallly stupid. Wilma sounded a little like Corona, and it went with Fred. So, now we have the Flintstone dogs.
