As long as the parents are properly health tested and the pup isn't deaf then I wouldn't see a problem with it. Keep in mind that the white pup should never be bred though... I've always been told that white pups often happen from breeding two flashy dogs...

I love white boxers. My son's friend has one and he is beautiful and a great boxer. I think that like every other boxer if the pup is in good health and has a good background, then why not. I don't think that price is high at all for a registered puppy. Good luck.

I just lost my white (hearing and seeing) baby. The only diffrence between a fawn and brindle and white are the colors. If the parents are health tested, no reason not to get that white baby. I would get another white in a heartbeat. I would even consider taking a deaf white pup.

I assume from your avitar you decided to get the white babe hu? Good for you.

Like Donna, on Jan 10 I just lost a white female. She was a splendid family member...a protector, friend, and babysitter. Oh, and she was a dog, too.

When I looked for a boxer seven years ago, I wanted a white one because then I knew that many were put down. They were less common than other colors. My concerns were deafness and blindness based on info given to me. Ours was like any other boxer...just white. Her white color gave her one distinct advantage/disadvantage. Many who saw her thought she was pit bull or American boxer...which made no sense because her ears were up and she was an elegant shaped boxer, not a stocky one. Her appearance gave her an edge as a watchdog.

Her parents were of good blood. Her breeder is a reputable one who shows boxer. Now the bad news...she was born with one kidney working which falied at seven years and one week. She may or may not have ingested a toxin. The evidence indicates that she did. However, if she had two kidneys, she may have come out of it. Is this white related? I have no clue.

Would I get another white boxer? No, but not because I think less of them. For me, Annie was my white boxer. My next one will be of color. Would I advise you to get one? If you like the color (or lack thereof) and choose one from a reputable breeder who shows boxers...and find one you love, then I would say yes.

Go for it. Doesn't matter about the color since you're looking for a family member. I think our white pup is as beautiful as her sister who is fawn.
