Should I even bother planting grass?

Wow! So I am not the only one! When Angel gets her boxer burn on out there she takes the grass with her! I don't know what we will do in the new house but we have to start with a fence first. Then probably some deck. Then I guess we'll go from there! Glad I know about Tuff Stuff now!

Another tip is to have your internal walls painted a darkish colour so that the slobber and goobers don't show up! the creamy wallpaper in my sitting room now has a lovely(?) 'dalmatian' effect!

This is so true! We bought our house in April 2003. Remodeled it with a light cream paint and white trim. It looks horrible now! Just yesterday my husband said " what in the world is all over these walls?" I told him I'll give you two guesses but you'll only need one! :D Guess I'll need to get him to repaint now! Ha Ha Ha!

I have Bermuda grass in my yard and it looks green most of the year. The boxers can't seem to damage the stuff. It is very durable. Bermuda goes dormant in the winter time and turns brown but bounces back in the spring. The only problem with Bermuda is that it is very invasive and will creep into the areas where you don't want grass to grow.

OK, I'm headed to the store to get the Tuff Stuff. I also use hay in the winter when it's muddy and cover the tracks where the girls seems to run the most. It does help with the mud somewhat. I've given up on: clean kitchen floors, clean entry run, wonderful grass, and a clean deck. I wouldn't trade it though as there's nothing like two Boxers going at it with each other!!!!
