Absolutely Amazing Story!

You are a true hero. So many times we feel so helpless in situations like these and we are not afforded the opportunity to help. How lucky for us ALL that you were strong and determined and given the chance. Well done in standing up to her. My heart was breaking at these pictures because Bailey looks a lot like Trooper Thorn (a healthy 65 pounds, and not an ounce of fat on him).

I can't understand that she was starving her dog for vanity sake. Appalling.

PLEASE PLEASE keep us updated on what happens to Bailey.

Thank you again. Treat yourself to a glass of champagne or a hot fudge sundae or a long soak in the tub. YOU DESERVE IT!

Oh my gosh I am so happy!!! That was a great thing you did helping that dog and I am sure he is thanking you now that he is in proper care and getting much needed food. Good for you and hooray for Bailey!

You should print out this entire thread along with the pictures that you took and give them to AC. That way, she can't claim "Oh he wasn't that skinny" etc.

Also, it shows your state of mind as to calling animal control, asking around for informantion on Bailey, etc. That way, she can't say that it was a snap decision, or vindictive behaviour (or whatever) on your part.
