Shirts and jackets that fit a boxer?

I'm new to the whole "dressing" the dog thing. I've tried stuff on Boston just for fun, but now I think he needs a shirt and possibly a jacket.

He's been hopping in the bed too much at night!! He gets in under the covers, warms up, then goes and gets back in his bed. I started covering him with a blanket, but I think he moves and gets uncovered.

Last night he woke me up at 2am making a chewbacca noise saying "mom let me up!" I made him get in his bed and covered him back up.

I think the solution to this is to get the B man some clothes!!!

I've tried a dog jersey before just for fun and the XL was too tight under his arms, he hated it. I've tried my t-shirts on him....too tight under the arms. Hahah I could try the BF's shirts....but I don't think he'd like to be swimming in fabric.

What does everyone else put there dogs in that seems to fit?? The only problem I've run into was the tightness around the chest and under his arms....Boston not that big...he was 68lbs as of last month....so I know there has to be something out there!!!

there is a site that sells warm breed specific clothing. It is called Voyagers k9 apparel "k9apparel". They make tummy warmers to the specifications of your pooch.

i am like you and was getting fustraited cause nala was always so cold so i did a search and this is what i found.

Thanks Nalabear for the info, tho' I do have a question about the tummy warmer. In the picture it shows a female, I need something for Thor. I was wondering if you think there is enough "clearance" for my guy to potty without getting it wet?

they actually ask you if its for a female or male dog so they can make it to fit either.

I like the hood too. its just to cute.

Someone posted on here last year about these doggie ski jackets from Old Navy that we on sale. I got mine each one. They are kinda an ugly color, but fit them perfectly!!!!! It was like they were made for boxers, LOL. I wish I could find them again and get pretty colors, LOL. Ill post a picture when I can find one.

Here's the jackets that I LOVE! I think they are a Large, and Gus is 69 pounds, Izzy is 60 pounds.

It doesnt cover their entire belly, but they stayed warm.

Juno has a Fido Fleece sweater that fits her just fine. She has a deeeeeeep chest so I was expecting it to be a tight fit, but it works great.

She also has a couple horse blanket style fleece sweaters. We got hers from a craft sale so I don't have a specific brand to recommend. These I think are easier to get a better fit with, because it just goes over their back and velcroes under their stomach.

Juno's a small boxer, but she's got the boxer build in a compact body.... still muscular and deep chested. So I would think any boxer could fit in these.

winter coat

I had to buy my 4 month old pup Lexie a coat last week. It's getting pretty cold up here at night now. I found a fleece jacket at the local pet store and she loves it. She was hanging around outside tonight for about 3 hours and seemed perfectly happy and warm.
