I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I've had a dog choke on a rawhide but managed to get it out of their mouth.I know it was difficult,but thank you for posting your story. It may save another baby's life.

I am truly sorry to read of your loss of Cassius.

When I get home from work today, I am going to 're-analyze' all of Tre's toys. Throw away all of the small ones that can get lodged into his throat.

Oh no,

The first thing you should try to do is see if you can reach it yourself, if this ever happens again put your hand down thier throat if you are scared that you are going to push it in farther, squeeze the throat with your other hand and try to push upwards while your hand is down her throat, this wont be comfortable for her at all, but its very important.
So sorry for your loss
