Im so sorry for your loss and so sorry cassius had to go thru that pain, it must have been devastating. I sat here with tears in my eyes wondering where the nearest emergency clinic is and i have no idea. Thank you for the warning and for opening up my eyes. I wish you lots of strenght thru this hard time. We at BW are always here to listen.

I cannot thank all of you enough for your condolensces, sweet wishes and comforting thoughts. You are a phenomenal group that has offered me whatever comfort you could the very first minute I sat at my desk this morning. I could ramble on forever, but just want to say how appreciative I am, and that I'm happy to hear that so many have taken my advice to heart. It is so important.
I tried to post up an avatar, but simply couldn't, not now. Cassius was the most gorgeous flashy fawn with a heart of gold. Tell your dog about her, one day many many years from now she would love to play with him/her where she lovingly plays now. We'll always miss you Cassius, always always love you. Goodbye Sweetheart, until we see you again.

I just found this thread while catching up after not being on BW most of the week. I am shaking and shocked. How horrible for you guys & your girl to have to go through this. We feed lots of raw bones and have once in a while fed a nylon bone, but never again. I will say a prayer for all of you. I wish there was more I could say or do, I am so very sorry for the way you lost your girl.

All of us also live in MA. I want to express how sad I feel for you. No one could even imagine.
Thanks for all your information about all the bones and treats that we all give our dogs....I am sure all your heartfelt information will keep us all aware of everything that we give out. And thanks for letting us all now how to prepare ahead of time....your loss is incredible, but does not come without a loss....your buddy and you made me and everyone else here aware of dangers, and in that respect, you and Cassius saved a bunch of us..... always will be grateful .
Thanks, and the weather over rainbow bridge is sunny, low to mid 80's, small puffy white clouds with a slight southern breeze. No rain or snow in forcast.

I am so very sorry for your loss of Cassius. I can't imagine how horrible the whole ordeal was for all of you. Thank you for warning all of us of the dangers that can happen and adivising us to be prepared. I have no idea where the nearest Emergency Vet is in my area, but I WILL before I go to bed tonight. Know that I'm thinking of you all and praying that your hearts will heal soon and you'll be left with sweet memories of your girl.
