Hi All,
I have 2 Boxers, Abby- 3 year old fawn, and Jack- 4 mos. old reverse brindle. Abby has been acting like she has anxiety or something. She walks around the house whinning and seems scared of something. It started a coulple days ago for no apparent reason. She is not interested in eating, She will go find one of her toys and then just walk around whinning, like she wants something. Usually she is very social and wants to be right next to us but now she will go to her bed with her toy and lay they for a while and then comes out and starts whinning again. I feel so bad for her and don't know what to do. Anyone out there experienced this? Please help, TIA.

Hi. Are you sure that your baby isn't sick or hurt? I would most certainly take her into the vet for a check up. Please keep us posted on how she is doing.

I too think a vet check is the best thing to do right now. I've heard of a little shih tzu that did the same thing, the little dog was a little older and he had kidney stones that were causing discomfort that took quiet some time to figure out. The owner didn't want to do the x rays until everything else was ruled out and that was how they figured out what that little ones problem was. Lots of hugs to Abby and I hope they can find out what is bothering her.

sudden strange behavior can often stem from a medical problem. it would be a very good idea to take her to the vet and get checked out in order to be able to eliminate any possible medical problems as the cause.
