We had a problem with Lexi this fall also.
We originally had her on a raw diet, but her PH levels went up very high. We then switched her to California Naturals which she did well on for quite a while.
But then one morning she only ate a bit of her breakfast and then threw it up with blood in it. She went to the vet that morning. They did Xrays and determined she had gastritous (sp?) which is an inflamation in her stomach. The vet gave us Medi-Cal and she has been on it since then with no issues at all. It is a food for dogs with stomach issues.
It's working for Lexi. Her PH level is back to normal and she has not vomited since.

I have a five-year-old female who also has a sensitive stomach. About two or three years ago she started vomiting after every meal (at the time we were feeding her Royal Canin Sensible Choice). If she wasn't vomiting her food, it was yellow bile. I took her to vet and they put her on Science Diet I/D and she couldn't keep it down. I homecooked for her and she vomited it, too. Took her back to the vet and they did x-rays but didn't find anything. Then she started vomiting small amounts of blood, so ANOTHER trip to the vet. They gave her some meds that humans actually take for ulcers (they think the vomiting and bile basically caused a raw spot) and suggested probiotics/yogurt. Oh, and Science Diet Sensitive Stomach because they're ALWAYS pimpin' out the Science Diet. It was just filler, so I said no thanks, but did try the yogurt. I bought some Stonyfield Farm Organic Non-Fat Plain yogurt. We give her a small amount in the morning and again around nine in the evening. We've noticed if she doesn't get her yogurt at night, in the morning when she wakes up her stomach is making horrible sounds and she vomits bile. It's almost like the yogurt coats her stomach and prevents it from getting upset. We also feed her Wellness Super5 Chicken and she loves it.

I just started having this problem with my Rocko. He is 2 1/2 and was doing fine. We just redid out kitchen last week and had to move his bowls for a few days. He would keep some food down and then throw it all up later on. He kept drinking so dehydration was not an issue. Since moving his bowls back to where they have been since the day he came to our home, all is well.
My question is rather than Rocko having a sensitive stomach is it possible he just despises change? Have any other parents ever had this happen to them?
