I have a five-year-old female who also has a sensitive stomach. About two or three years ago she started vomiting after every meal (at the time we were feeding her Royal Canin Sensible Choice). If she wasn't vomiting her food, it was yellow bile. I took her to vet and they put her on Science Diet I/D and she couldn't keep it down. I homecooked for her and she vomited it, too. Took her back to the vet and they did x-rays but didn't find anything. Then she started vomiting small amounts of blood, so ANOTHER trip to the vet. They gave her some meds that humans actually take for ulcers (they think the vomiting and bile basically caused a raw spot) and suggested probiotics/yogurt. Oh, and Science Diet Sensitive Stomach because they're ALWAYS pimpin' out the Science Diet. It was just filler, so I said no thanks, but did try the yogurt. I bought some Stonyfield Farm Organic Non-Fat Plain yogurt. We give her a small amount in the morning and again around nine in the evening. We've noticed if she doesn't get her yogurt at night, in the morning when she wakes up her stomach is making horrible sounds and she vomits bile. It's almost like the yogurt coats her stomach and prevents it from getting upset. We also feed her Wellness Super5 Chicken and she loves it.
