Yes we went to the vets last thursday the day before we went to oregon to see if she could get shots early. They said that they could give her the kennel cough one and the one so that she could drink from streams and lakes I think. I have the shot record somewhere so I could make sure. Which shots do they need to have before she could go?
Poor Diego!! I feel so bad for him. Oh well, I hope he heals soon.
So even if Tuppence can go could I be informed about who will be there for sure? Thanks!

Make sure she's current for Parvo, Distemper and Rabies. And, if not tonight, tomorrow I'll have a recap of the intended guest list - hee hee :p!

I know for a fact that she hasnt had the distemper or the rabies, but I thought she was too young to carry rabies. Am I right? I dont know that much about it. Is the parvo shot included only in the third round?
*sighs* Too bad, it seems like she cant go to any dog parks until after the tenth when she gets the third round.

Our monthly boxer play day is Sunday, Sept. 8, so I'm going to go to it.

Gunnar is a definite NO. He's too sick and too emaciated to be able to do anything.........he can hardly poop without exhausting himself. Madison could come, though.

Are you thinking maybe we should reschedule for October or something when Diego is better and able to play; when Gunnar is a little more healthy; and more people could come?? I don't know of too many folks who are going to be able to make it either, however, I did mention the playdate to a woman from Boxer CUR who lives around here.

Let me know what you think. If too few boxers are going to be there, why don't we try and reschedule for a later date. My rationale: the more boxers the better the fun!!

I'm thinking that rescheduling might be better and agree that more boxers = MORE FUN! I'll contact Rocky's owners and let them know.

We just need to figure out the next date ! But in due time... I'll also PM Dasia's parents too.

I think rescheduling is a good idea considering our numbers. I'll send a quick email to Kari (from Boxer CUR) and let her know. We can think about a later date with consideration made to Diego's leg (It is his leg, right!?!), Gunnar's current health status, and well, the more boxers that will be able to attend!! We can discuss at more length which park we would like to have it at as well, ok.

Well wishes to Diego!! Sending Boxer love and wiggles........

I would like to know when the next bash is. Palmer would love it. I live in Eastern Washington so it will be a bit of drive for me. An outing to Leavenworth with all our Boxers would be fun too. And this is such a nice time of year over here.
